From now on Wilbers Racing Suspension offers this special edition shock absorber especially to function with products of the Motocross- and Supermoto-class. As both, Motocross- and Supermoto vehicles are similar in demand and performance, Wilbers developed one shock to match both vehicle types. As usual, only first-class material, such as 7075 airplane aluminum, a piston rod made of special steel 14 mm in diameter, a radial piston with crossbeam as well as a safety valve were used during the manufacture of the shock. The over-pressure safety valve prevents the shock from hydraulic blocking at high compression speed. An over dimensioned reservoir provides maximum cooling and minimum pressure changes to the system. First racing titles in the Supermoto-class have already proven the shock absorbers functionality. It goes without saying that the shock is equipped with all regulation possibilities in high- and low-speed compression by 22 clicks each. A novelty is the astonishing rebound, now adjustable by 44 clicks. For the preload there’s a choice between manual or hydraulic adjustment settings. This Wilbers 642 special edition shock is also available in the well known Classic-Line.
