| The Quad fashion came over from the United States and was accepted enthusiastically by the German market. The difference is that in Germany the quads are primary used in Supermoto-Sport and on the road while they are preferably used for off-road cruising in the USA. Due to its high centre of gravity a quad is susceptible to tip over in steep curves. Thus we considered a radical height lowering to improve riding safety. Together with shorter suspension travel, adapted springs and damping a decrease in ride height of 80 to 100 mm can be achieved. This way, handling characteristics as well as driving corners in lean angle are naturally improved. |
